Can't install Windows update

Some Experience
Hi all been a while since was on this forum but would appreciate some help!
My updates are set to download but only install when I choose.
I am finding installing following up date impossible

2018-07 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2 for Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2 for x64 (KB4340558)

Installation date: ‎14/‎07/‎2018 20:23

Installation status: Failed

Error details: Code 80092004

Update type: Important

A security issue has been identified in a Microsoft software product that could affect your system. You can help protect your system by installing this update from Microsoft. I have done research to get round this but still not able to install and this has been going on for months!

Hi Ray,

I have has a few that have failed as well and have looked further down the list and saw that they were installed successfully.

Also check the update list (I believe you can in Windows 8) and see if the update in question is still listed there. They may have removed and or replaced it with a different update.
