Hello and Welcome to FPCH D4VE.Hi all, just received a replacement battery for my Sony Vaio laptop but I am getting a pop-up window telling me that the battery is not compatible! I am unable to get rid of this window, any advise please?
I will try and search for a solution that will remove the nag but I cannot assure you that there will be a fix. However, I will try my best. Just hang in there till we search for a solution.Hi Goku thanks for the reply, the battery I have received is not an official Sony branded battery but powers the laptop OK it is just the window that stays onscreen I would like to get rid of. The battery is the correct fitment!
Glad I could help D4VE. The next time you have a problem, you know where to ask.Hi Goku
There was no ISButility in start up but did remove ISBMgr and that appears to have removed the message even after restart on the battery.
Thanks for your help and hopefully it has cured my fault.
