Can Get POP email but no internet. Cannot Ping.

Hey,

At home I have been trying to set up this Time Capsule as a Router. The manual is here: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/Tim...SetupGuide.pdf

I am trying to set this up for both Macs and PCs.

I have set it up as described in the manual and can now find it on all machines in the house and can connect to it wirelessly. I an also plug it into a desktop and get the same issues. So its not a wireless issue.

The issue is here. The computers can get email, POP i believe, but no internet.

I cannot ping anywhere, and have tried browsing by names, and IPs to no avail. When I ping google.com it says could not find the host google.com

When I ping 74.125.226.146 (Google) I get request timed out


The windows troubleshoot gives the error:

"Windows cannot automatically detect this network's Proxy Settings"

I am on Windows 7, but could be on a mac if needed.

If there i any information that I have not given please say. To be honest im generally competent at this sort of thing but dont have a clue here.

Ive also tried Telnet. I tried Telnetting the router IP on port 80 however could not figure out what the IP is. SO that was a dead end. I was looking for teh 192.168 etc

Tbh i dont really know what 10.100.34.1 is. Ive never seen internal IPs like that.
