OK, My drive is a DVDRW drive and it reads discs with stuff on fine..but when i put a blank disc in..whatever it be, CD or DVD it will not recognise it!..everytime i click on the drive it says please insert a disc on into G:

i dont know what drive it is..when i click properties it just says its a DVDRW 16X
on the front of the thing its just got a lil' thing saying DVD dual Double Layer and 16x
and a sticker saying:
download LiveUpdate program from Welcome to Liveupdate to keep the best performance
but i go to that site and go to download the program but its like 120mb and i cant download it because of my terrible dongle connection!
anyway to fix this with out the update thing?
